EMSradio.net is a brand new, at the time writing this topic, internet radio station dedicated to electronic dance music. The motivation for creating EMSradio was the lack of a broadcasting station that could host, and hug, those passionate DJs that play music, not for a living, but as a way of expression. EMSradio.net has been established for all the electronic genre's DJs around the world, who could never get broadcasted through the "giant" stations. We are not against "giants" (AH.FM, DI.FM etc), it is not even in our interest to be! The fact, however, that their full schedule or their highly demanding criteria to accept a dj is true, and happens.

Our station's name stands for Electronic Music Stream and although we do own the name EDMradio.net (EDM, Electronic Dance Music) we preferred using the EMS as the radio's "brand" name. EMSradio.net is a FREE online radio as we are doing this for the love for music rather than for a living. We are operating it with our own money, on our spare time, and this is not a complaint. Our motto is that when money get in the way, monotony replaces passion!

This radio station was created with certain styles of music in mind. We play all variances of trance, as well as progressive and house. We respect all different tastes for music and any different preference anyone may have. However, allow us to stick on these genres at least for the time being.

EMSRadio.net is open to host:

Trance: Uplifting trance, vocal trance, epic trance, anthem trance, classic trance, dream trance, etc.
Progressive: Progressive trance, progressive house.
House: Techhouse, ElectroHouse.

Related styles are also okay to a certain extent, however the emphasis is on the above, so we do not encourage sets consisting only of related styles. Related styles includes:

* Techtrance, hardtrance, electrotrance
* Progressive breaks
* Chillout, ambient
* Electrohouse, Tech

Everything else is not desired. A single track here or there won't kill anyone, but more than that is a no-no. This is what we want to deliver. In other words, we do not want:

* Any form of techno (including minimal)
* Harddance, eurodance, gabber, hardcore, hardstyle, etc.
* "Neotrance"
* Psytrance, goa
* Anything else unrelated, e.g. drum 'n' bass, jungle, dubstep, etc etc.
* Obviously anything non-EDM.
